Nina Manzi is a mobile public wash facility developed to address the absence of access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene that people without a permanent residence in the Cape Metropole experience daily. This project aspires to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our society have access to the fundamental human right of safe water and sanitation, with the goal of restoring their dignity.
The Wellness days are offered monthly at the U-Turn Homeless Service Centre located at the corner of Stegman Rd, Hawthorne Rd and, Claremont Blvd in Claremont, Cape Town, 7708. The services provided include:
1.15min Shower
2.Haircuts
3.Nail trimming services
4.Fresh towels, a wash towel. shower gel, lotion and a container to secure clothes from getting wet
Keeping to the theme of “something old, something new, something borrowed”. At Nina Manzi Wellness Days, we are always looking for new opportunities to enhance our services and are investing in a washing machine. If you could contribute to our washing machine, it would offer additional support to those in need who are experiencing homelessness.
